I was in my shop one fine summer day, doing my thing. The dogs were out in the back yard, doing their thing. It was a tranquil, peaceful afternoon. All was right with the world. Within seconds it sounded as if there was a major riot going on right outside my window. The dogs were howling, barking, and baying (all different sounds, by the way), not to mention squabbling frantically amongst themselves (an even more different sound) about something of paramount importance. There was bumping and thumping on the side of the building, and more howling and baying and squabbling. I figured I had better go investigate since it sounded as if it was escalating by the second. Luckily, I had my camera in the shop, so I grabbed it on the way out the door to see what all the shouting was about. The following series tells the story:
